Karey Rainey Maxwell has has been practicing general dentistry for 10 years, performing all aspects of general dentistry, including cosmetic, whitening, Invisalign, and Implants.  She has been named a CT Magazine Top Dentist.

Karey Rainey Maxwell received her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Connecticut College, summa cum laude in 1998 and membership into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.  One distinction was that she was the first student to complete an Independently taught Calculus II course. While at Connecticut College, Karey's love for math and science continued to flourish.  While working as a Dental Assistant, she discovered her adoration for dentistry. She has always had a passion for helping people.  She worked as an EMT volunteer, a nanny, and held the position of House Fellow, a prestigous position for Conn College seniors responsible for caring for an entire "house" full of students.  Karey has also enjoyed working with her hands since she was a child. Thus, the combination of art and science in dentistry was the perfect fit!!

Karey graduated from the top dental school in the country, UCONN School of Dental Medicine.  She has been practicing dentistry for 10 years and is passionate about her career.  Opening her own office, Infinity Dental Care has made her dream complete.  She is blessed with wonderful patients that have waited patiently for her return to practice.  A few have told her they would follow her across the globe.  Heart felt connections like these are rare and truly valued.  While in dental school, one of Dr. Rainey Maxwell's first patients told her, "I was always self conscious of my smile until you helped fix my teeth.  Now I can't stop smiling."  She continues to receive compliments like these from so many patients.  That is what truly inspires her and keeps her smiling.

Dr. Karey Rainey Maxwell loves performing general, comprehensive dentistry. She has developed a special niche in Invisalign. She is a Preferred provider and has completed over 100 cases. Invisalign is an almost invisible way to move your teeth without the annoyance of brackets and wires. Her husband is one of her many satisfied patients.  He is extremely happy with his Invisalign results, his straighter teeth are healthier and make smiling a lot more enjoyable.  She has also completed Advanced Hands-on Training in Cosmetics with the Hornbrook Academy, a world renowned program for cosmetic dentists delivering uncompromising aesthetics and function.  Her awards include: the Nicolas J. Piergrossi Award for overall Academic Achievement, American Academy of Practice Achievment Award for superior leadership skills and outstanding efficiency at four handed dentistry, Olmstead Award for her unparelled ability to communicate to patients, regardless of their age, while making them feel comfortable and confident.  It is imperative to her that she is up-to-date on the latest technology and materials available to her patients.  She has completed over 200 hours of continuing education, including, but not limited to an Advanced Implant Seminar with Farfield County’s leading expert in dental implantology, Dr. Michael Sonick. Dr. Rainey Maxwell also received the CT Magazine Top Dentist Award for 2011.

Karey Rainey Maxwell is also the mother of three beautiful girls.  They are the apples of her eye.  Family is an utmost priority to her and that includes her extended dental family.  At Infinity Dental Care, you can trust that you will be cared for like family.  Infinity sometimes means, "something too great to count."  The passion that Dr. Rainey Maxwell has for her family and patients is "something too great to count."  She hopes to pass on to future generations that same passion.  Her primary concern is entire body wellness.  Since the mouth is a window into the health of your body, she will concentrate on helping to improve and/or maintain your oral health, therfore benefitting your overall health.  Dr. Maxwell would love to help you feel more confident about your smile, from a small chip to full mouth reconstruction.
